Why leaves change in Autumn
Fall is a delightful mix of warm days and crisp nights: perfect for fall foliage. Leaves are green, thanks to trees producing chlorophyll. When nights grow longer and colder, chlorophyll production slows down and eventually stops. The warm weather encourages the red and purple anthocyanins and orange-yellow carotenoids in the leaves to show through, creating the palette of brilliant colours.

Aurecon 5 Star Green Rating
Aurecon’s office building in Century City, Cape Town, was recently completed and is the first building in South Africa to be awarded a 5 Star Green Star SA – Office Design v1 rating by the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA).
Developed by the Rabie Property Group at a cost of around R130 million, the 7 000 square metre office block is also the first building in Cape Town and only the fifth country-wide to achieve Green Star accreditation from the GBCSA. Peru attempts to stamp out uncontacted tribes
Peru’s Indian Affairs Department has revealed plans to open up uncontacted tribes’ reserves to oil companies – just days before the country’s new government takes office.
