Stop looting our national treasures
Pretoria – Water and Environmental Affairs Minister Edna Molewa has urged South Africans to work with law enforcement agencies and game park authorities to stop the “looting” of rhinos, which she described as a national treasure.

Aurecon 5 Star Green Rating
Aurecon’s office building in Century City, Cape Town, was recently completed and is the first building in South Africa to be awarded a 5 Star Green Star SA – Office Design v1 rating by the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA).
Developed by the Rabie Property Group at a cost of around R130 million, the 7 000 square metre office block is also the first building in Cape Town and only the fifth country-wide to achieve Green Star accreditation from the GBCSA. Water access to be increased
Cape Town – The Department of Water Affairs has promised to work together with South Africans in order to make more water available for communities and economic growth.
Minister in the department Edna Molewa said that they were building on the significant progress they had made in commissioning key water projects of strategic economic importance to the country.
These, she said, included the Mokolo and Crocodile River (West) project set to supply water to Eskom’s new Medupi power station and other industries in the area. [Read more…] about Water access to be increased
